At , we have our eyes set on an ambitious goal: to make managing
your pet's health simple and delightful. We've already launched our
pharmacy service that allows people to shop for their pets'
medications and supplements online and get them delivered to their
doorstep in presorted medication pouches. Now we're focused on
continuing to improve that experience while building a suite of new
products and services that will make the pet health experience even
better.As Koala Health's first Continuous Improvement Analyst, you
will be reporting into the Head of Pharmacy Operations onsite in
Boston, MA. You will be responsible for identifying, creating,
communicating, and implementing innovative solutions for complex
workflows in order to promote cost-saving, scalability, and
efficiency.What you'll do:
- Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing improvement
strategies for Koala Health team members and customers
- Oversee and perform data collection, analysis, and continuous
improvement of key clinical quality initiatives such as
compounding, data entry, processing, and workflows
- Work cross-functionally with Operations and Product leaders to
design, promote, and implement process and policy solutions
- Educate staff throughout the organization on the importance and
applicability of Clinical Quality initiatives
- Collect, analyze, and report data elements for key quality
processes and outcomes to measure and ensure progress towards
established goals are attained
- Identify opportunities for improvement using quality indicators
then coordinate efforts to optimize performance
- Work in collaboration with other stakeholders to evaluate and
improve efficacy, safety, cost effectiveness, reimbursement, and
quality of delivered programs
- Regularly monitor program data and metrics to evaluate
effectiveness and clinical outcomes and reports to appropriate
internal and external stakeholders
- Performs other duties as assignedWhat you'll need:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
preferred with active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy
License (This includes Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy
Trainee)
- 2+ years in a program management/continuous improvement
role
- Preferred experience in a mail-order pharmacy setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize critical tasks and
conflicting requirements with acute attention to detail
- A proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify gaps in
complex workflows by analyzing and leveraging data
- Ability to lead prioritize in a rapidly evolving startup
environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, self-starter capable of working
independently
- Preferred experience with Parata and/or PioneerRxWhy you'll
