Research Scientist II where you will be working with the Oncology
Cell Therapy Innovation Team. You will be a highly qualified
immunologist with a strong background in immunology, particularly
immune-oncology and innate cell immunology. You will be essential
in improving cell therapy platforms like CAR-NK and CAR-gdT to
increase the potency and longevity of cell therapy products.
Utilizing their knowledge of innate cell biology, such as gene
engineering, immune cell activation, survival, proliferation,
function, and cancer/immune biology in the tumor microenvironment,
they will direct discovery projects and work with colleagues across
departmental and cross-functional teams to advance the development
of Cell Therapy discovery platforms.How you will contribute:
- Initiate investigation of new experimental approaches to a wide
range of problems using scientific theory and technical
literature
- Contribute to functional problem resolution and objective
setting
- Interpret results of complex experiments, and integrates data
produced by other disciplines
- Contribute to functional scientific discussion
- Prepare and present comprehensive technical or project reports
and formal presentations / posters to full range of
internal/external audiences
- Collaborate with cross function team and contribute in matrix
based project teams
- Demonstrate broad technical program knowledge
- Act as the recognized scientific resource on an aspect of a
program
- Demonstrate effective project engagement skills
- Identify, plan and execute novel scientific projects and may
manage the work of others a direct or matrixed structure
- Independently manage workload and expectations

- Conduct scientific presentations to internal audiences
- Receive high level instructions on all work, determine methods
on new assignments, work closely with manager, may manage junior
staffMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Individual should possess a Ph.D. in Immunology, Biology, or a
related field.
- A minimum of 0- 2+ years of relevant pharmaceutical
industry/academic experience is required after graduation.
- Hands-on experience with CAR-T, CAR-NK, CAR-----T, and TCR-T
cell therapies/immunotherapies is required, including cell culture,
immune cell activation/expansion, and viral transduction for
various types of immune cells.
- The individual should have significant skills in in vitro and
in vivo immune cell characterization and function assessment, such
as multi-color flow immunophenotyping, multiplex cytokine
measurement, cytotoxicity assays, and other molecular-based
assays.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to
detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate
effectively with a team are required.
- A track record of publications to demonstrate scientific

146,000.00. Employees may also be eligible for Short Term and
