a passionate and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to
join our dynamic and dedicated healthcare team. This is a permanent
role that offers the opportunity to make a significant difference
in the lives of our patients. The successful candidate will be
responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to
patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on pediatric
cases. This role requires a professional who is adept at creating
and implementing treatment plans, managing crisis situations, and
working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to
provide comprehensive care.Responsibilities:1. Conduct
comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health
disorders and emotional issues.2. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and
responses.3. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions,
including individual, group, and family therapy.4. Collaborate with
a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including
physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive
patient care.5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of
patient treatments, responses, and progress.6. Educate patients and
their families on mental health issues and coping mechanisms.7.
Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice set
forth by professional governing bodies.8. Stay updated on the
latest research and advancements in mental health care,
particularly within the pediatric population.9. Participate in
ongoing professional development and training opportunities to
enhance skills and knowledge.10. Manage crisis situations
effectively, ensuring patient safety and immediate
care.Qualifications:1. A Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical
Psychology, or Clinical Social Work is required.2. Must hold a
valid state license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor.3. A
minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling, with
a focus on pediatric cases.4. Proficient in various therapeutic
techniques and intervention strategies.5. Exceptional communication
and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and
rapport with patients.6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively
as part of a multidisciplinary team.7. Strong organizational and
documentation skills, with an attention to detail.8. Ability to
handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions under
pressure.9. Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining patient
confidentiality.10. Current CPR certification and basic
understanding of medical terminology.11. Proficient in electronic
health records (EHR) software.12. Willingness to participate in
ongoing professional development and training opportunities.13.
Understanding of diversity and cultural competency, with the
ability to provide care to a diverse patient population.14.
