Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN), Med SurgMass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Everett, Massachusetts.About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse on our Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with a variety of medical conditions.You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management.Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
• Provide education and support to patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical Nursing experience is preferred.
  • Related experience required for advanced clinical and specialty areas (IMCU).
