About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham Home Care. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a registered physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence.Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients with physical impairments resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in a thorough and timely manner.
• Teach patients and caregivers about physical therapy techniques and provide education on patient care.Requirements
  • Two years of experience in acute care, rehab, or home care as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn other software applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
