Job Description:

The Clinical Nutrition team at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking highly skilled Registered Dietitians to fill available Clinical Nutrition Specialist positions. Current openings include per-diem, part-time, and full-time schedules within our Inpatient Units & Outpatient settings.40 hour positions are eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus. Position schedules vary between 24-40 hours per week. Current openings include inpatient positions for Medicine/Surgery, and outpatient positions for various specialty clinics, including Spina Bifida, Genetics/Metabolism.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs and develop effective nutrition care plans.
• Assist in supervising the daily work of the dietetic technician.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition.
  • Three plus years of progressive experience in Dietetics, with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition (preferred).
  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Spanish language skills a plus.
