Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU/CCU position requiring a current MA RN license and strong cardiac critical care skills. Responsibilities - Work in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) with floating to the CVICU - Care for adult cardiovascular critical care patients - Shift options include 12-hour rotating or night shifts, with schedule discussed during interview - Main responsibilities include management of complex cardiac patients with advanced monitoring and support modalities - Orientation held weekly on Mondays, except holidays - Team structure provides support in both CCU and CVICU settings - Pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication tests are required - First time travelers will be considered - All time-off requests must be presented at time of consideration - Parking costs up to $43 per day Requirements - Active MA RN license required at time of consideration - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required - Strong proficiency with PA lines and transvenous pacing is required - Significant cardiac ICU experience required, including surgical or medical cardiac care - Preference for experience with mechanical circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella) - Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility - Previous employees of Beth Israel Lahey Health must have a minimum 6-month break before returning - COVID vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed) Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629950.
