Responsibilities - Position based in a hospital imaging center utilizing 1.2T Hitachi Oasis Vertical Field and 3T GE Premier MRI scanners - Two-technologist operation with RN onsite from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM for IV placements - Night shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with rotating weekend coverage - Facility open 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday and 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekends - EPIC charting system is used; prior experience preferred - Duties include patient positioning, immobilization, selection of technical factors, and data reformatting for optimal MRI scans - Responsible for preparing patients, explaining procedures, transporting, and ensuring patient safety - Perform daily quality assurance on MRI scanners and maintain records - Required to prepare and clean equipment and scanner room for each patient - Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the hospital for standard travel rate eligibility; local candidates receive a reduced rate - Parking fees may apply and validated parking is not available - Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos system Requirements - Current ARRT certification required - Active Massachusetts state license required, no conditional licenses accepted; license required if applicable - Current BLS certification from AHA accepted; Red Cross, CHSF or Military accepted for some locations - No minimum years of prior MRI experience required - Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630505.
