Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and proficiency in GE and Siemens MRI scanners. Responsibilities - Work in a high-volume hospital MRI department - Day shifts with 8-hour shifts, including weekends (Saturday 6:30am–9pm, Sunday 6:30am–9pm, Monday 6:30am–7pm) - Perform MRI scans on adult patients using GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners - Position involves independently preparing and positioning patients for various MRI studies - Utilizes Epic EMR, experience preferred - Responsibilities include patient screening for metal implants, selecting and recording appropriate pulse sequences, and maintaining image quality - Duties include starting IV lines for contrast, monitoring patients during exams, editing exam records, and sending images to PACS - Must be able to respond to patients' physical and psychological needs and communicate exam procedures clearly - Environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work independently - Involvement in training students and collaborating with the imaging team as part of ongoing education - Pass/fail testing for Tele/ECG and medication knowledge may be required at specific campuses - All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at submission - Parking may be up to $43 per day - Scrubs or dress code not specified Requirements - Minimum two years of recent MRI technologist experience required - Current ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) required - Proficiency in operation of GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners required - Experience with Epic EMR required - Must have a valid MA license in hand if applicable (license required if applicable) - COVID vaccine and booster, along with flu vaccination required prior to start; medical exemptions are allowed - Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility - Candidates must not have worked at any BILH facility in the last six months Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629930.
