Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license and advanced pediatric emergency skills. Responsibilities - Position is in a pediatric emergency department setting serving patients from newborn to 22 years old - The department includes up to 16 treatment areas, 6 psychiatric, 12 observation, and 11 urgent care spaces - Night shift hours from 7pm to 7am with 12-hour shifts - Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday - Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks - Preferred candidates will have experience in a Level I Trauma hospital - RN must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B, with testing limited to two attempts - Team provides care to a diverse pediatric patient population with a variety of emergency needs - First day Telemetry rhythm and heart block identification proficiency testing is required - Parking is available with monthly fees - Holiday and weekend coverage is required as part of the regular schedule - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel Requirements - Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years recent acute pediatric emergency experience required - Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks - Must pass a Telemetry test on day 1 with a score of 85% or better - Level I Trauma hospital experience preferred - Two professional references, one from a manager and including a recent performance evaluation, are required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628122.
