Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU
position in Massachusetts requiring strong PA line and advanced
cardiac skills. Responsibilities - Position is based in the
Coronary Care Unit (CCU) with floating to the Cardiovascular ICU
(CVICU) - Patient population includes cardiac surgical and medical
critical care cases - Requires 12-hour rotating shifts or nights,
to be discussed during interview - Use of PA lines, transvenous
pacing, and advanced mechanical circulatory support devices such as
IABP and Impella - Weekly orientation sessions begin every Monday,
except holidays - Responsibilities include advanced cardiac
monitoring and care, including management of invasive lines and
mechanical support devices - Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication
testing may be required at orientation - All requests for time off
(RTO) must be submitted during application - Parking is available
but may cost up to $43 per day - Holiday coverage may be required
based on schedule Requirements - Active MA RN license in hand at
the time of consideration - Current BLS (CPR-AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
certifications required - Strong experience with PA lines and
transvenous pacing required - Preference for experience with
mechanical circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella -
Significant cardiac ICU experience, either medical or surgical -
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local
candidates accepted) - Candidates must not have worked at any Beth
Israel Lahey Health facility within the past 6 months - COVID-19
vaccine and booster, as well as a current flu vaccine, are required
