Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of experience and a valid MA RN license for an acute care assignment. Responsibilities - Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab in an acute care setting - Hybrid lab with Cath lab, EP (on Mondays and Wednesdays), and IR cases - Average of 4 cath procedures daily, including cardioversions, TEEs, and IT biopsies - Handles ACS, NSTEMI, STEMI, AF, and IR cases; IABP and Impella patients shipped to tertiary centers - Two procedure rooms and six holding bays are part of the cardiovascular center - Uses Meditech, Epic, and Mac Lab charting systems - Typical schedule is 4x10 hour days, with day shifts and template options of 7-3:30p, 7-5:30p, or 9-5:30p - Call required: minimum 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month, plus 1 major holiday annually; 30-minute response time required - On-call hours are 5:30p-7a weekdays and from 5:30p Friday to 7a Monday on weekends - No floating required - Responsibilities include providing nursing care during cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in a hybrid lab environment - Clinical leader and charge nurse on each shift ensure support - One week orientation is provided at the start of the contract - Scrubs are provided by the facility - Must respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes - On-call coverage for one major holiday (winter or summer) is required Requirements - Active MA RN license required - Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Experience with moderate sedation - Familiarity with Epic, Meditech, and Mac Lab charting systems preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629816.
