THE DIVISION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES in the Department of Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks BC/BE infectious diseases physicians at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level for full time clinical positions providing care to our both our general ID and immunocompromised host population. This physician will serve as a clinician and educator at the BIDMC and our community affiliates both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Division of Infectious Diseases includes 30 full-time members with academic appointments at Harvard Medical School. The division has a strong basic and clinical research mission, provides superb teaching to students, residents and fellows, and provides outstanding clinical care on a busy inpatient service with both general ID and immunocompromised patients. The Division will be actively engaged in the new clinical collaboration among Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. This collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational precision medicine for our patients.
