WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Concord, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in Concord, MA. Job Function: - Night Shift. - 7pm to 7:30am. - Reviews data in-patient record, including admission and current R.C. orders, patient history, physical exam, PFT values, ABG results, and laboratory data. - Set up and maintain respiratory equipment as instructed; Attends department meetings and in-services as instructed. - Performs patient assessment in order to monitor effects of therapy provided and documents this assessment in the patient chart. - Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve and maintain adequate oxygenation, a patent's airway, including maintenance of adequate humidification. - Obtain and analyzes ABG's as ordered/ per policy. - Follows Department protocols, such as weaning protocol, patient ventilator monitoring, Cuff pressure monitoring, etc. Job Requirements: - Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). - 2 years of experience. - RRT or CRT from NBRC. - BLS and NRP required. - MA Licenses.
