AM – 4:00 PM) Hours: 40 hours/week Experience Required: - Minimum 2
years related work experience in radiation therapy - IMRT and IGRT
experience required Required Licensure / Certifications: - Active
MA Radiologic Technologist – Radiation Therapy license - ARRT
registration - Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: - Experience
with MOSAIQ record and verify system - Basic computer proficiency
for web-based applications Position Overview / Responsibilities: -
Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation
Oncologist - Perform daily maintenance and quality assurance checks
on equipment - Maintain inventory of departmental supplies -
Provide patient and family education to maximize compliance with
treatment plans - Monitor patients’ physical and physiological
responses to treatment and refer for management as indicated -
Accurately administer radiation therapy and document treatments,
reactions, and therapeutic responses - Position, immobilize, and
align patients according to treatment plans; solve set-up problems
as needed - Collaborate with Level II Radiation Therapists to
resolve clinical issues - Utilize quality assurance programs to
ensure safe and effective treatment delivery - Adapt contingency
plans based on workload and scheduling variables Education
Required: - Graduate of a JCRT-accredited Radiation Therapy program
