ICU RN Job Details – Milton, MA Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/7/2026) Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shift: 12-hour nights; every other weekend required Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Location: Milton, Massachusetts 02186 (Greater Boston area) ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (temporary or permanent; can apply at time of offer) 2-3 years of recent ICU nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Epic EMR experience required Ability to pass ECG/Telemetry and medication competency tests at orientation Proficient in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care CCRN certification preferred Willingness to float to PACU, step-down, and Emergency Department (ED) for holding patients Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (no local travelers) No time off will be considered during this contract ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including ventilator and vasoactive medication management Perform hemodynamic monitoring and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to PACU, step-down, and ED as needed for patient care support Accurately document all care provided using Epic EMR Participate in ongoing education and successfully complete required competency assessments Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Milton, Massachusetts, and take the next step in your nursing career!
