Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position: X-ray Technologist Start Date: ASAP Length of Assignment: 13 to 26 weeks SHIFT TIMES: Monday - Friday 07:00AM - 06:00 PM Performs routine imaging examinations in Diagnostic Radiology on a scheduled and emergency basis following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations. Examinations/Procedures • Reviews and evaluates requisitions for Diagnostic imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for routine examinations. • Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers. • Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy. • Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to instructions and develop a care plan for that patients' specific needs. • Explain the examination and is able to answer questions from patient and parents regarding the exam and Radiation exposure, practices ALARA. • Required 1 Years of Experience 1 Year of Pediatric and OR experience required Current MA Radiologic Technologist license ARRT (R) EPIC Experience Preferred BLS Certification Amergis Healthcare Staffing Job ID 1063802.
