Job Description Job Description Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU to provide critical care on a per diem basis . This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a high-acuity, dynamic environment . Responsibilities: Deliver advanced, life-sustaining care to critically ill or unstable patients. Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and organ function, responding to any critical changes. Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions according to established protocols. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify treatment plans. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and interventions. Educate and support patients' families through the critical care process. Adhere to hospital and unit policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Qualifications: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience or similar critical care setting. Strong familiarity with monitoring equipment, infusion devices, and life-saving protocols . Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to stay calm and prioritize tasks in emergency situations .
