Job Description Job Description Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU to deliver specialized care to patients requiring a higher level of monitoring but not critical care. Join us on a per diem basis in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities: Monitor patients with complex medical needs, including those recovering from surgery or acute conditions. Administer and titrate medications, IV infusions, and treatments. Conduct continuous assessments, documenting any changes in patient conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to establish individualized care plans . Provide post-discharge education and ongoing support for patients and families. Maintain detailed and accurate patient charts and electronic records. Qualifications: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU, step-down, or telemetry settings. Familiarity with monitoring devices, infusion pumps, and medical equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to make decisions quickly in time-sensitive situations .
