Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
speech-language pathology opportunity is available in Norfolk, VA,
serving a diverse K-12 student caseload from preschool through 12th
grade. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the
school year and offers the potential for both full-time and
part-time arrangements based on candidate availability. Key
Responsibilities: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for
speech and language disorders across all grade levels including
preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students. Develop
and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each
students needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related
service providers to support students communication and academic
success. Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance
with school and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings and provide input on student IEPs. Desired
Qualifications: Valid state license or certification in
Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with pediatric
populations in school settings, with caseloads spanning early
childhood through high school. Strong knowledge of speech and
language development and evidence-based intervention strategies.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations,
including those with various communication disorders. Excellent
communication and organizational skills. Location: Norfolk, VA
