Job Description Certification Details - BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Massachusetts RN License Job Details - Registered Nurse position
in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty. - Job involves working every
other week (EOW), straight night shifts. - Start date is January
26th. Job Requirements - Must have a valid Massachusetts nursing
license (no conditional licenses accepted). - Primary source
verification of professional license and/or certification required
within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. - MGB
Badge Photo submission required (color photo taken in past 6
months, no selfies or filters). - Fit Test for N95 respirator
within 365 days of start date and updated annually. - Documentation
of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required. - Influenza
vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no
exemptions allowed. - TB test documentation within 3 months of
start date and updated if break >6 months. - Physician Health
Statement within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month
break. - Criminal background checks including MGB Criminal
Background Check, Massachusetts CORI, National Sex Offender Check,
and Exclusion Checks required within specified timeframes. - Resume
including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
- Two recent references required, minimum one supervisor or above
in skillset. - Skills checklist required for submission. -
Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial
assignments and extensions. - Education verification through
background check company required. - SSN Trace required with
criminal check. - Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required
if fit test is required. Schedule Information - Every other week
(EOW) schedule. - Straight night shifts. Unit Specific Information
- Emergency Room (ER) specialty unit. Additional Details - MGB
Badge Photo must be a color photo taken in the past 6 months with
no selfies or filters. - No religious exemptions considered for Fit
Test and Influenza vaccine. - Fit testing cannot be done onsite at
any location; updates can be done at Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket
if traveler extends assignment. - Flu-mist administered directly by
pharmacy or provider accepted; self-administered flu mist not
accepted. - Background checks must be vetted with MGH/Security via
secure/encrypted email. - Massachusetts CORI provides criminal
history going back to age 17. - Positive PPD requires negative
chest x-ray documentation (optional). - TB symptom survey required
if positive PPD (optional).
