Med/Surg / Tele RN in Windsor, Vermont, 05089! Job Opportunity –
Medical Surgical Charge Nurse – Vermont Start Date: March 17, 2026
Location: Windsor, Vermont Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 8-hour shifts, every other weekend,
holiday coverage as needed Highlights: Serve as backup Charge Nurse
coordinating total nursing care for patients Work with a
nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 with an average daily census
of 22 Utilize Cerner EMR system in a collaborative clinical
environment Float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units within
scope of practice 13-week travel assignment with 8-hour
non-billable orientation Call pay at $4/hour; Charge pay
differential at $3/hour Requirements: Active Vermont RN License or
Compact license required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
required Minimum 2 years recent Medical Surgical and Rehab
experience required Previous travel nursing experience (at least 3
months) required Charge RN experience required BSN preferred Must
have reliable personal vehicle (required for this rural community)
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Willingness to
float to any unit within scope of practice All time-off requests
must be submitted at time of application (maximum 5 days accepted)
