Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to
join our team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional
care across our facility and home-based services. In this role, you
will support our mission to provide top-tier care focusing on
post-acute services, tailored to individual patient needs. You will
work directly under the supervision of registered nurses to assist
patients with their daily activities and ensure a high standard of
patient care and safety. Assist patients with daily activities such
as bathing, eating, dressing, and exercising. Monitor patients'
conditions by recording vital signs and reporting any changes to
the nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for
patients by adhering to sanitation standards and procedures.
Provide emotional and social support to patients and their
families. Ensure documentation of patient activities and health
information is completed promptly and accurately. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow
instructions and procedures accurately. Basic knowledge of health
and safety guidelines. Proficiency in maintaining and updating
patient records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
preferred. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
or must be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
