Job Description:
Position Summary / Department Summary: The Clinical Nutrition
team at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking passionate Registered
Dietitians to join our inpatient and outpatient teams. Current
opportunities are available in per-diem, part-time, and full-time
schedules. - 40-hour positions are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on
bonus - Position schedules range from 20–40 hours per week -
Current openings include: - Inpatient: General Inpatient (Boston) -
Outpatient: Adolescent/ARFID (Boston & Waltham) and Open Clinic
(Needham) Key Responsibilities: - Provide nutritional care to
patients in assigned inpatient and/or outpatient settings. -
Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to
assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans. -
Implement and monitor nutrition care plans to optimize patient
outcomes. - Assist in supervising the daily work of dietetic
technicians. Minimum Qualifications Education: - Bachelor’s degree
in Nutrition required. Experience: - At least 3 years of
progressive experience in Dietetics, with 2 years in pediatric
nutrition preferred. - Strong analytical skills to resolve complex
problems using scientific, mathematical, or technical principles
and in-depth, experience-based knowledge. - Effective communication
and writing skills to manage complex discussions, conflicting
views, and provide clear documentation. - Spanish language skills a
plus. Licensure / Certifications: - Registration by the Commission
on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian. -
Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Licensed
Dietitian. The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and
good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any
base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education,
certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors. Base
