Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Boston, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,900 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Boston, Massachusetts, 02114! Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30 AM - 08:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of ICU experience 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab RN Prior traveler experience preferred but not required Description: The Cardiac Catheterization RN acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department. This role involves full collaboration with other care team members to assure continuity of care for patients. The Cath Lab RN promotes a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and personnel. This position focuses on understanding and meeting customer needs. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call are possible during the contract, but no weekend or holiday shifts will be worked. In a 13-week contract, you can expect 1-2 weeknights (total) and possibly 1 weekend (not guaranteed). The department has 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR. All procedure rooms have been recently upgraded. There is a 12-bay peri-procedural space for patient preparation and recovery. Epic is the primary charting system used. Hemodynamics measurements are performed on the Siemens Sensis system. The lab averages over 30 cases per day.
