Title M/S Tele RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Schedule 12-Hour Night Shift, 36 Hours Per Week Assignment Details Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Requirements - 2 years of telemetry experience required - Experience in a large teaching facility required - BLS certification - NIHSS certification (required prior to start) - ACLS certification - M/S or Gerontology certification - EPIC experience from within the past 12 months is required Roles & Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, focusing on medical and surgical telemetry. - Assess and monitor patients for acute and chronic conditions, particularly those with multisystem needs. - Implement nursing care plans and evaluate patient progress. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. - Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Compliance / Notes - Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is required. - COVID and flu declinations accepted; documentation must be included with application. - Employment gaps over 30 days must be explained. - No block schedules available for any reason.
