Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Salem, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,095 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/3/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Salem, Massachusetts, 01970! Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS certification, Telemetry Certification, ACLS Must-Have: - Must be able to read telemetry strips - Knowledge of cardiac drips Description: This position requires an RN for a medical telemetry unit. The unit accommodates a 37-bed capacity. Patients may be admitted from the Emergency Department, transferred from other units, or directly admitted by a physician. Common treatments include Cardizem drips, Nitroglycerin drips, Lasix drips, and Heparin drips. The patient population includes individuals with CHF, Atrial Fibrillation, Pulmonary Embolism, and Pneumonia. Occasionally, surgical patients are admitted as well. RNs will manage patients post-cardiac catheterization and post-pacemaker insertion. Travelers are required to float to applicable units when necessary. Rotating shifts may occur, but are typically infrequent. The RN to patient ratio on day and evening shifts is 1:4, with a maximum of 5 patients. The night shift ratio is 1:5-6.
