If this is you, read on....Our esteemed manufacturing client on the North Shore is in growth mode again and adding staff to their Customer Service Team on a contract-to-hire basis. - In this role, you'll jump in feet first and partner with the Sales Team to ensure their orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. - You'll help cultivate relationships with customers and end users by providing exceptional customer service with every touch point.Responsibilities

  • Maintain -a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Respond -promptly to customer inquiries via telephone and email; resolve problems in a timely fashion
  • Process sales orders, offer pricing and availability, quote fulfillment lead times, and provide shipping/tracking information
  • Interface with Sales and Engineering to resolve any issues
  • Monitor and review open orders each week to ensure commitments are met; notify customers of shipment delays and/or product shortages
  • Follow RMA/RGA process for all project orders; ensure Product Manager is made aware of any defective product returns
  • Attend product training and workshops to maintain product knowledge
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior leadershipRequired Skills/Abilities
    • Order entry
    • Detail oriented, highly motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including active listening
    • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
    • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
    • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specializationEducation and Experience
      • HS Diploma required, AA/AS preferred
      • 2+ years of customer service experience in a similar environment -Hours
        • Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PMStarting Pay
