satisfaction.JOB SUMMARYThe F&B Supervisor is responsible for
ensuring the success of the food and beverage program including
breakfast service, restaurant lunch and dinner service, the hotel's
full bar and daytime meeting room catering. He/she is expected to
maintain the high quality of both the food and service, run an
effective food service team, assist with making the weekly
schedule, and maintain inventory control including placing
orders.This is a 40 - 45 hour per week position. Most shifts will
be evening shifts 3pm - 11pm or sometimes later shifts on busier
weekends. Position does include tips when covering or assisting at
the hotel's bar.Applicants MUST have at least 2 years of food and
beverage supervisory experience to be considered for this
position.JOB REQUIREMENTS (included but not limited to)Cross
training on the hotel's front desk is required as the F&B
manager will cover breaks and assist at the desk on slower F&B
nightsCross training on the hotel's bar is required as the F&B
manager will cover and/or assist at the bar on some
nightsResponsible for making all food orders during shift. Weekends
typically busier than weekdays.Responsible for prepping food for
retail menu items and prepping banquet food for meetings in our
meeting room or board room (small venues) according to
BEO's.Responsible for ordering all Food and Beverage
inventoryResponsible for ordering all OSE items for kitchen and
food serviceResponsible for completing weekly tips spreadsheet for
payroll entryResponsible for completing monthly food and beverage
inventoriesAct as MOD on a rotational basisMust be able to
effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level
of associates and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and
service oriented manner.Must be effective at listening to,
understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by associates and
guests.Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an
attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. Provide
the highest quality of service to the customer at all
times.Maintain regular attendance, understanding that the needs of
the hotel may require a varied schedule.Maximize efforts towards
productivity, identify challenge areas and assist in implementing
solutions.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and
communicating in a manner so that you get along with guests,
vendors, co-workers and management.Assist with recruitment, hiring,
training and counseling of food and beverage staff members.Promptly
and effectively deal with guests' requests and complaints.Set up
and maintain dining room and kitchen for operation in a timely and
efficient manner.Ensure that all weekly, monthly and daily cleaning
duties are being completed.Ensure food order delivery accuracy
while maintaining "first in first out" inventory methods as well as
labeling methods.Notify General Manager or Assistant Manager of any
issues or shortages.Practice OSHA safety standards and ServeSafe
food handling standards at all times. Ensure all existing and new
staff are properly trained in same standards.Comply and practice
hygiene standards in accordance with city and state health codes.
