Description:Company Summary: Electric Supply Center is the one

every point from quote to sale to delivery.Position Summary for CDL
Delivery Driver: Our CDL Drivers deliver a wide range of products
specific to our industry and include boxed items, coils of wire,
bundles of pipe, and other electrical components, parts, and goods.
Trucks are pre-loaded at our central distribution center and are
delivered to customer job sites across New England. Delivery stops
are manifested to maximize route efficiency and ensure accurate and
timely delivery.Responsibilities for CDL Delivery Drivers:Night -
CDL Delivery Driver: Standard Hours 8:30 pm-6am: Delivery routes
are upwards of 200 miles per night and average 15-30 deliveries
(stops) per night, these time sensitive deliveries must be
completed by 6am.Day - CDL Delivery Driver: Standard Hours
5am-1:30pm. Overtime as required. Delivery routes are territory
based and average 10-20 deliveries a day and include specific time
commitments and dock times as well as local vendor pickups.General
CDL Delivery Driver Responsibilities :Plans and completes an
efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.Communicates with
Fleet and Transportation Manager on the status of the route.Loads
delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.Delivers
parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of
receipt when necessary.Picks up parcels along the scheduled route,
including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as
requested.Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries
made.Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according
to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and
mechanical issues to supervisor.Assists in general warehouse duties
when delivery route is completed or prior to departurePerforms
other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Requirements: 21
years or olderValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class
B)Forklift and Hydraulic CertifiedPass the required Motor Vehicle
Driving Record (MVR) and background screeningPass the required drug
test and physical capabilities test (if applicable)Pass DOT
physical and DOT Road TestExperience:At least two (2) years of
experience working in a warehouse or distribution centerSome
experience as a delivery driver making deliveries and pick-ups on
timeKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Operating trucks requiring a
CDL license (e.g., performing basic functions like driving
forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces,
etc.)Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building
displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating
product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of
date products, etc.)Operating equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand
trucks, breakdowns, Moffat forklifts etc.)Maintain basic logs and
recordsAbility to use navigation technology such as GPS and
smartphone, or physical maps if neededWorking Conditions:Working in
a warehouse settingBe able to work with heavy machineryAbility to
lift at least 50 pounds, 100 pounds with the helpAvailability on
weekdays; morning or afternoon shiftsHazardous conditions may
