Hampshire Physical Therapy license or compact required
Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS required
Must-Have: Doctorate in Physical Therapy required. Must be flexible
to work Inpatient PT as needed. Description: This position requires
providing evaluations and treatments for patients with varying
diagnoses. The role includes utilizing manual techniques and
therapeutic exercises. Typical patients include those recovering
from orthopedic and sports injuries, fractures, sprains, and
dislocations. You will treat musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neck and
back pain, and neurological disorders such as stroke and
Parkinson's disease. The therapist will work on balance and fall
prevention, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
The typical patient ratio is 8 patients per day from Monday to
Thursday and 6 on Fridays. This facility will require the ability
to treat all common diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics. Requests
for time off during the assignment must be noted during the
application process. Only a maximum of 5 days of requested time off
will be accepted. It is essential for candidates to have their own
vehicle due to the location being in a small community without
public transport. All scheduling requests must be made at the time
of submission. Previous rehab experience and experience working
with physical therapist assistants are preferred. CPSI EMR
experience is highly preferred. All candidates must upload
