We love what we do and have fun doing it!Job DescriptionAs the Human Resources Generalist, you report to the General Manager. You are responsible for supporting the key areas of Human Resources and you will work closely with management. Functional responsibilities for this position include recruitment and onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, policy implementation, company programs, employee law compliance and related administrative duties.ResponsibilitiesSupport the coordination of needs related to recruiting new employees. Screening interviews, background checks, offer letters, new hire paperwork, day 1 preparation needs, employee data entry into Paycom, etc.Conduct onboarding process for all new employees, including new hire orientation meetings.Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, standards, and government regulations. Assists in the review and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.Responsible for timely benefit orientation and enrollment (health insurance, 401(k), etc.) for newly eligible employees, life events and open enrollment.Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees, explaining procedures and policies in a timely, effective manner.Properly maintain employee information according to company policy, primarily utilizing Paycom.Interpret policies and provide counsel and guidance to managers and employees concerning work related issues.Support and champion employee awards and recognition.Maintain records and compile reports regarding personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, and organizational changes.Conduct exit interviews to identify trends in regrettable attrition and provide data to client groups.Identify and provide solutions regarding, HR needs, compensation issues, new hire orientation, performance appraisals, employee relations, policy deployment and compliance.Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.File required reporting including, but not limited to, EEOC, ACA and DUA.Perform other related duties and special projects as required and assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in HR with a minimum of 5 years HR experiencePHR, SPHR preferred.
