Job Summary:The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for performing recruitment-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR and management in supporting designated regions and/or subsidiaries. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding, and HRIS administration.Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs recruitment activities within designated areas of the business; reviews resumes, conducts interviews with prospective candidates, writes and places advertisements.
  • Partners with upper management on outbound recruitment efforts which includes attending career fairs, networking events, seminars, etc.
  • Drives process management for new hires; includes but is not limited to the collection of new hire paperwork, scheduling pre-employment appointments, setting up employees into Human Resources Information System (HRIS), processing E-verify.
  • Maintains partnerships with external recruitment agencies.
  • Reports monthly recruitment metrics.
  • Assists in maintaining HRIS records.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Adheres to and demonstrate MER's core values of Integrity, Mutual Respect, Discipline and Professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of in-house recruitment experience is preferred.
    • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree a plus.
    • Knowledge of ADP workforce now system preferred.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
    • Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Ability to handle high level of confidential information.
    • Ability to serve as an outside representative of the Company.
    • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and ability to operate within web-based software.
    • Successful completion of a pre-employment background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards. PI180563949
