Job Description:
We do Consulting Differently Berkeley Research Group (BRG) is a
global consulting firm that provides advisory services across
economics, disputes, corporate finance, and strategy. Within BRG,
the Corporate Finance practice delivers hands-on financial and
operational advisory services to companies, private equity
sponsors, lenders, boards of directors, and other stakeholders
navigating complex, high-stakes situations. The Turnaround &
Restructuring (T&R) practice is a core component of Corporate
Finance and advises companies and stakeholders through periods of
financial distress, liquidity challenges, operational
underperformance, and transformational change. Our professionals
work directly with management teams, investors, and creditors to
stabilize businesses, improve performance, and maximize value.
Recruiting is a critical enabler of this work. Given the pace,
sensitivity, and complexity of T&R engagements, BRG is seeking
a Senior Recruiter who can operate as a true business partner to
senior leadership—bringing judgment, rigor, and polish to every
interaction. Role Overview The Senior Recruiter – Turnaround &
Restructuring will lead experienced-hire recruiting efforts for the
T&R practice, partnering closely with Managing Directors,
Directors, and senior stakeholders to deliver top-tier talent in a
fast-moving, high-touch environment. This role requires a recruiter
who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing senior
relationships, and executing with precision. The ideal candidate
brings experience recruiting into professional services
environments where discretion, judgment, and client service are
paramount. Responsibilities • Serve as a recruiting partner for the
Turnaround & Restructuring practice, owning end-to-end
experienced-hire recruiting efforts • Partner closely with Managing
Directors and senior leadership to understand hiring needs,
candidate profiles, and timing priorities • Develop and execute
targeted sourcing strategies for highly specialized, senior-level
talent in restructuring, corporate finance, and related disciplines
• Conduct high-quality screening interviews to assess experience,
judgment, communication skills, and values alignment • Manage
candidate pipelines with a focus on quality, speed, and candidate
experience • Advise stakeholders on market dynamics, candidate
calibration, compensation expectations, and hiring tradeoffs •
Coordinate and drive the interview process from initial outreach
through offer acceptance • Act as a steward of the BRG brand,
delivering a polished, white-glove experience to candidates and
stakeholders • Partner with Recruiting Operations to ensure
seamless scheduling, process execution, and documentation • Develop
and and execute management-level reporting and dashboarding •
Develop and deliver concise recruiting updates to senior
stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights and
recommendations • Contribute to broader recruiting initiatives,
including process improvement, market mapping, and talent strategy
development • Other responsibilities, as required Required Skills &
Experience • 5–8 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced,
high-touch environment • Proven experience recruiting for
professional services roles, including: Management consulting
Investment banking Private equity Corporate finance, restructuring,
or transaction advisory • Demonstrated ability to manage complex
stakeholder relationships with senior leaders • Strong judgment and
discretion when handling sensitive searches and confidential
information • Track record of sourcing and closing high-caliber,
experienced talent • Comfort operating independently while managing
multiple concurrent searches • Ability to translate business needs
into clear, actionable recruiting strategies Qualifications •
Bachelor’s degree required • Exceptional written and verbal
communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with
senior stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail • Mature presence, intellectual curiosity, and sound
professional judgment • Ability to prioritize competing demands in
a dynamic, deadline-driven environment • Advanced proficiency in
PowerPoint and Word • Advanced MS Excel, and experience with
recruiting analytics and reporting • Experience working with
Workday ATS strongly preferred • Professional certifications such
as SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS, or similar credentials are preferred and
viewed as a value-add, though not required Location & Travel This
role is based in Boston, MA and follows a hybrid work model, with
in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
Occasional travel may be required for interviews, recruiting
events, or stakeholder meetings. Employment Eligibility Candidate

Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position
considers a wide range of factors, including skills, experience,
education, and business needs. The disclosed range has not been
adjusted for geographic differentials. At BRG, it is not typical
for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. A
reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is
$110,000–$160,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual
incentive program. Any incentive award is not guaranteed and is
