The Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology group is a
cross-disciplinary team that delivers advanced solutions to
high-impact problems in the areas of ocean sensing, ocean dynamics,
signal processing, artificial intelligence, system architectures,
and autonomous systems.
The Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology group welcomes
candidates that are motivated to develop architectures and advanced
sensing techniques for undersea mission applications. The initial
focus will be to identify limitations and technology gaps in
undersea systems and design potential technology solutions.
Architecture studies will involve both manned and unmanned
platforms, with the potential to develop and test identified
technology solutions. We interact with a variety of collaboration
partners including technical and non-technical peers and
The successful candidate will work with experienced group members
to learn about advanced technology and the undersea mission.
