We are DISH Wireless.-- Job Duties and Responsibilities What you will be doing Reporting to EVP of Wireless, the Head of Cloud Services will be responsible for the design, deployment and performance of the compute platform underlying DISH's 5G network. Our vision is to bring Internet scale to telecommunications. Our network will utilize a cloud native infrastructure both in private and public environments to support the full range of telecom services. This leader will build and foster cross-departmental relationships across the wireless division and IT team to ensure quality service and seamless delivery. In this role, you will:
            • Capture requirements, design solutions and deliver underpinning services enabling the efficient operation of our cloud native infrastructure
            • Ensure application sourcing aligns with architecture, data center and technology standards
            • Identify technology trends that could potentially impact the type, level or utilization of these services
            • Collaborate with the Technology Development team to select hardware and software components
            • Establish and articulate business requirements for new or changing services
            • Create innovative solutions with significant impacts in the form of savings, advances or driven advantages Skills, Experience and Requirements Skills and Experience The successful candidate will bring a passion for working on new technologies in a fast-paced and evolving environment. He or she will be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. This individual will have at least 10 years of IT Delivery experience within a modern infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have:
              • Minimum of five years of Azure / AWS / GCP Solution Architecture, Engineering experience as well as excellent DevOps, Coding and Software Engineering skills
              • Deep full stack knowledge including networking, compute, storage, virtualization, containerization, middleware, databases and security
              • Hands-on understanding of composing, building, deploying and leading IaaS, PaaS solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP and other cloud services
              • Experience leading matrixed internal and service provider delivery teams
