The ideal candidate will also serve as a Agile Coach for the overall Agile release train and develop an Agile COE. Candidate will have 7+ Years of relevant experience --- Bachelor Degree --- Experience working with SAFe Agile software development teams and managing project deadlines --- Experience-affecting change in organizations working towards agile adoption. Candidate will require Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.Senior Manager - Scrum Master the candidate will be responsible for the following ---- Candidate should be responsible for driving the productive efforts of multiple agile teams through facilitating continuous improvement, removing impediments, and guiding the team through commitments using agile/lean & scrum techniques, principles, and values.--- Responsible for managing scrum masters and as part of a larger agile practice and agile delivery service in the organization and is accountable for continuous improvement across the organization.--- Applies agile principles, values, and techniques by fostering deeper understanding of agile roles and responsibilities within agile teams.--- Monitors team activities and guides teams towards meeting commitments.--- Shields teams from external interferences that can jeopardize iteration goals.--- Ensures the teams commit to definition of done at each required level.--- Guide the teams during appropriate team ceremonies.--- Accountable for continuously improvement, self-organization, and high performance.--- Demonstrates strong organizational and influencing skills as a leader.--- Works across several teams and with leadership to ensure practice health and consistency aligns with organizational goals.--- Assists teams in maintaining data integrity, completeness and accuracy in tools for work tracking and reporting, used to efficiently complete tasks.--- Coaches the teams to effectively meet commitments.--- Guides the teams to maintain definition of complete and actionable backlog items with clear acceptance criteria and quality assurance.--- Appropriately accessible to team members to actively support team activities.--- Promotes collective ownership of backlog item completion and iteration goals.--- Communicates clearly to engage and energize the team and the organization around the agile mindset.--- Keeps team members engaged, involved and informed.--- Facilitates discussion of team conflicts toward resolution through examination of alternative approaches.--- Provides guidance to the organization around best practices and leads strategic initiatives for adoption of best practices.--- Encourages teams to set high quality standards and promotes technical excellence across the team.--- Identifies opportunities & time for the team to improve overall quality of their product and deliverables.--- Builds and applies useful metrics to support team's and product team's decisions.--- Promotes continuous improvement within the team, consistently tracking and following up on retrospective items.--- Measures and reports on team improvements based on process integration of iterative delivery.--- Proactively coach the team and scrum masters as required.--- Proactively grows skills, knowledge and mastery of agile methodologies.--- Provides thought leadership in the area of agility.--- Leads by example to foster and maintain high team performance. --- Understanding Project Management tools such as ServiceNow, MS Project, Azure, JIRA, G Suite collaboration tools;Minimum Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required LocationBostonTime TypeFull timeAt Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, we believe in wellness and that work/life balance is a key part of associate wellbeing.
