Our client in Boston, MA is looking for an IT Support Technician
to join their team for a contract position.
This person will be responsible for answering our clients support
line during business hours, and resolving or redirecting calls.
Clients will rely on you to help with Tier 1 IT support issues and
help reach the Tier 2 or Tier 3 technicians when needed.
You will be responsible for email-based Tier 1 support, as well as
updating systems regularly to support the team in maintaining
healthy backups, antivirus status and more.
--- Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft
--- Technical knowledge of macOS
--- Experience with virus removal
--- Experience with G-suite Administration
--- Experience working with a ticketing platform (Jira, Zendesk,
--- Excellent customer service skills
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
--- Works well under pressure
--- Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting tasks
Nice to have:
--- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
--- Experience with antivirus programs
--- Experience with phone system management and administration
--- Networking skills and experience
