Job Description:
Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services
company, is looking for a Web Application Developer (Fully Remote)
to join our team in support of a federal client. Pursuant to PL
93-638, as amended, Preference will be given to qualified
applicants who are a member of a Federally Recognized Native
American Tribe.

Position Overview:
This position will be part of an eleven-person team supporting a
Federal client with a business and IT modernization project.
Potential candidate must be experienced in business application
design and programming web based applications, script writing,
analytical methods, troubleshooting and debugging software.
Proficient with full stack development with JavaScript, C#, .NET
and SQL frameworks (ReactJS or Angular is a plus). Knowledge of and
experience with the full software development life cycle using
Agile principles. Experience developing and deploying applications
via cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are
not limited to:
Working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
Documenting application requirements and designing applications for
3 tier service-oriented architecture
Developing and deploying business applications and portal solutions
in AWS
Estimating level of effort, design, development, code refactoring,
unit testing, debugging, documentation, maintenance, performance
tuning
Developing RESTful APIs, webservices, microservices
Developing web business applications and portal solutions
leveraging the following: JavaScript, C#, .NET, and SQL.
Participating in sprint planning and sprint execution in TFS, Azure
DevOps or similar ALM tools
Managing source code in TFS, Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools
Bug investigation, tracking and resolution leveraging TFS, Azure
DevOps or similar ALM tools
Investigating and leveraging open source platform solutions
Integrating workflow into applications and portals
Integrating search engines with applications and portal
solutions
Creating application technical documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (experience and
certifications considered)
Minimum five years' design/coding/implementation experience in
software development using Agile principles
Experience with JavaScript, .NET, C# and SQL required (ReactJS or
Angular is a plus)
Exemplary attendance
Ability to work outside of normal business hours
Ability to travel as needed to the client locations
Location:
Remote from anywhere in the continental United States.
Clearance Requirement:
U. S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Working Environment & Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard
office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to
manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with
hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the
incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must
be able to read, perform simple math calculations and withstand
moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift
and/or move items that weigh up to 25 lbs. Specific vision
abilities required for the job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
focus.
