Customer Support Specialist - Wakefield, MA
Experience working in the semiconductor or robotics/automation industry a plus
The primary responsibility of this position includes sales support pre and post sale, as well as manage order initiation and processing for customers. Additionally, the successful candidate shall provide administrative support to the Sales Department including the generation of sales related reports and serve as factory to sales/customer liaison on orders, order status, shipments, and other related activities.
The Customer Support Specialist will Interact with customers prior to and/or after the sale; develop and maintain positive customer relations; coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, Responsibilities and Deliverables will include:

  • Responsible for order management for customer orders
  • Order review and acknowledgement communication: internal and external
  • Coordinate Slot plan with Master Scheduler/Production Control
  • Balance forecast upon order entry
  • Manage weekly sales forecast
  • Assist in coordinating purchase orders
  • Create monthly sales order and shipping reporting (bookings and revenue)
  • Handling change order requests as required
  • Coordinate sales documents: signing, filing, ensuring process is followed
  • Coordinate manufacturing documents: folder generation
  • Help with organizing customer meetings
  • Support the finance department with reporting
  • Assist with system and process implementations as company grows
  • Perform administrative support around office as needed
  • Communicate with customers
  • Other duties as assigned
    Skills Required:
    • Prior experience in order entry at a manufacturing company
    • Working knowledge of MS OFFICE Suite, including MS Excel
    • Professionalism in communications with customers
    • Highest level of integrity and honesty
    • Willingness to go above and beyond to support our customers' needs
    • Flexibility
    • Team Player - willing to do what is needed to help the organization become successful
      Experience Required:
      • Minimum 3+ years
        Education Required:
        • Associate's Degree in business or similar discipline
