Akoya offers a full continuum of spatial phenotyping solutions to serve the diverse needs of researchers across discovery, translational and clinical research via its key platforms: PhenoCycler™, PhenoImager™ Fusion and PhenoImager HT.Position Summary:The Principal Front End Developer is a member of the software team providing contributions to the design, development, and test suite of the analysis and cloud-based Akoya products. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing cloud-based products from user and design requirements. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with product management and engineering teams in an agile development environment to understand requirements and use cases to build cloud products.
• Participates in overall design and development of Akoya analysis software.
• Owns the front-end architecture, design, and development of the products.
• Helps leads the software design process.
• Works with minimal supervision; uses creativity and latitude to solve problems.Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area.
  • 8+ years in development
  • 5+ years in front-end cloud development
  • Knowledge of REST interfaces and AWS products
  • Experience with UI frameworks like Angular, React, Typescript, Javascript
  • Experience with Visual Studio, and other relevant development tools
  • Familiar with Agile and TDD development methodologies
