Job Description:
Summary/Objective:The Technical Project Manager leads within a
matrix environment to successfully complete projects within the
Technology organization. Serves as the primary liaison between
project teams, business owners and sponsors for various systems
and/or applications. Apply project management and agile methodology
skills to manage scope, plan work, coordinate resources and drive
execution. Projects may be small to large; cross-functional in
impact and are technical in nature.Essential Functions:Reasonable

management of infrastructure related projects such as data center
migrations to public cloud (AWS), greenfield deployments in the DCU
data centers, component lifecycle management, wireless and
telephone infrastructure upgrades, monitoring & alerting for the IT
infrastructure, workstation deployments, system / server upgrades,
networking upgrades and transformations, disaster recovery
exercises, remediation of major audit findings and other similar
technically oriented projects.Manage projects with waterfall and
agile methods when applicablePlan and estimate technology-related
projectsCommunicate and coordinate project deliverables across IS
Infrastructure and IS Development teams to achieve
milestonesSchedule and conduct project planning with appropriate
employees, subcontractors, general contractors, and
businessCoordinate project tasks such as software licenses,
equipment and materials are ordered, received, and staged during
the project executionCoordinate Installation Technicians,
Subcontractors, and IS Infrastructure as team resources across
projects with other Project ManagersManage the project plans by
establishing clear goals and proactively remove blockersUse sound
judgment in project communication and ensure that key stakeholders
including the team, business and management are apprised of project
activities in a timely mannerCommunicate progress, risks,
expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics
to business and team membersContribute to the ongoing development
and improvement of the Project Management and agile
methodologiesWorking knowledge and understanding of the ITIL
(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) FrameworkHave a

Subject Matter Experts, vendors, etc. to effectively deliver
projects/initiatives. This requires the capability to work in

relationships or working with varying levels of management up to
executive.Establish project communications, monitoring and control
mechanisms to ensure status and issues are reported to business
lead, executive sponsors, and senior management on a timely basis.
Prepare periodic status reports to management as requested. Create
and implement support transition plans to ensure new products and
features have documented support processes in place prior to
release.Builds constructive working relationships with
clients/customers, other work units, community organizations and
others to meet mutual goals and objectives. Behaves professionally
and supportively when working with individuals from a variety of
ethnic, social and educational backgrounds.Possesses, acquires, and
maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the
job effectively and to create client/customer solutions.

Requirements:4-year degree in Information Systems or equivalent
work experienceMinimum of 2 years direct Information Systems
infrastructure experience, perhaps as a system engineer, network
engineer, worked on a service desk team, or in IT Security, and may
have been an Infrastructure team lead or infrastructure manager.2 -
4 years experience with Information Systems project management
experience2 - 4 years experience in Financial IndustryExcellent
verbal and written communication skills.Strong knowledge of banking
systems, technologies and their relationship to business functions,
practices, and processesAnalytical and Project Management skills
with a focus in financial services applicationsBusiness Process
Management experience recommendedPMI or other project management
certification preferredKnowledge and practical applications of
Agile methodologyWork Environment:This job operates in a
professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner,
filing cabinets, and fax machines.Physical Demands:The physical

this job. This is a largely sedentary role. While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand,
