Embark on a journey with us to maximize global impact, motivated by the idea that our products will change the lives of millions along with the people you love.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Database Administrator with a passion in data integrity and operational excellence. You will be part of our Site Reliability team, primarily responsible for production relational data and S3 Storage.. You will work closely with various software teams, providing metrics and advice for data performance improvement. You will also be responsible for Data Change Management and Security Standards for all production data. As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor all Application Databases and S3 data and provide remediation solutions to the SRE team
  • Ensure all Test and Dev environments have updated and PHI Compliant Data
  • Spearhead Data migrations across platforms
  • Ensure Cross Region Data is replicated efficiently and safely
  • Manage upgrade to Aurora
  • Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.QualificationsBaseline skills/experiences/attributes:
    • 3+ years of experience working with RDBMS
    • Demonstrated success as a database administrator using PostgreSQL or other enterprise relational databases.
    • Full working knowledge of database design and components including storage/table spaces, schemas, indices, partitions, aliases, constraints, and triggers.
    • Working knowledge of AWS and S3
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceIdeally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it's ok if you don't!):
      • Site Reliability, including App and Infrastructure monitoring
      • Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, EKS
      • Building CICD pipelines in orchestration tools like CircleCI or Jenkins
      • Designing and building observability solutions, utilizing modern monitoring, logging, and metrics tools ensure overall system healthYou Deeply Identify with Core Butterfly Network Values:
