impact our clients.JOB OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking a strong
Lead Software Engineer on our Guideline Monitoring (investment
compliance) team. - Guideline Monitoring is an integral part of the
Portfolio Implementation process - investment teams look to
leverage guidelines as key inputs into their decision-making
process. This position requires relevant experience working in the
asset management environment along with an understanding of
client-server technology. This is a great opportunity for an
experienced technology professional to join a strong, collaborative

opportunities.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and implement end-to-end platform
solutions
- Hands-on development, data modelling, code quality, static code
analysis, unit testing, design and code reviews, continuous
integration, release management, performance tuning and
execution
- Building a platform that will provide streamlined user
workflows and scalable investment process automation
- Participate in setting technical direction, sprint planning,
release planning, and prioritization of work on the platform
- Comprehensive involvement in application lifecycle phases
including DevOps process, release deployments and support
- Work with business teams, project managers, and systems
analysts to review and qualify business requirements, functional
specifications, use-cases, and test plans
- Design, prototype and code new software components and
applications based on functional specifications across the full
stack - services, web and mobile clients, infrastructure, and
back-end
- Coordinate with analyst teams and vendors to execute test plans
and provide support during user acceptance testing
- Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new
functionality and to optimize them for performance
- Be highly collaborative, team-oriented, and strong consensus
builder; demonstrate an ability to partner across groups, regions,
and functions
- Proactively engage with key stakeholders to understand business
processes and how applications are used to facilitate it
- Develop a deep understanding of internal systems and related
datasets to help with solution designQUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience as a software developer within
investment management or financial services industry is
preferred
- Previous experience working with investment compliance
platforms (such as ION Sentinel, Charles River IMS Compliance,
Blackrock Aladdin) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of design patterns and data architecture
principles
- Experience designing relational and document-oriented data
models
- Experience building micro services Java, Spring framework
tools
- Experience AWS services like S3, EC2, RDS (Postgres /MySQL),
lambda, CloudFormation
- Demonstrated understanding of modern software development and
test methodologies including experience on GIT and Jenkins CI
- Willingness to work both collaboratively and independently
based on the task, in a fast-paced business critical
environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A record of continuous improvement and affecting positive
change
- Strong client relationship skills and proven ability to build
consensus
- Experience with event driven systems is high desirable, but not
required
- Experience with Rules Engine such as Drools is high desirable,
but not required
- Experience with Python/NodeJS is high desirable, but not
required
- Experience with ReactJS is high desirable, but not
required
- Experience with document oriented datastore like MongoDB /

100,000 - 225,000This range takes into account the wide range of
