Media Cause is looking for an Associate Director, Marketing
Technology to help accelerate the growth and impact of
organizations doing good in the world by helping them fully realize
the potential of the digital platforms and tools they currently
use, and working to employ new best-in-breed technologies to ease
the burden on staff.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of digital marketing experience
across non-profits and digital marketing industries. Bonus points
for prior agency experience.

Skills & Experience Required
- HubSpot Certified required.
- Ability to learn new platforms and processes quickly and
self-teach when needed.
- Familiar with, and have experience, in the following software
categories: Customer Relationship Management (CRMs), Content
Management Systems (CMSs), Email Marketing and Automation, Lead
Capture and Landing Page Builders, Online Fundraising, Public
Affairs and Advocacy, Analytics, and Tag Management Software
(TMSs).
- You delight in troubleshooting unfamiliar problems and can
articulate your solutions in a language that coworkers and clients
can understand.
- You're able to teach others what you've learned and answer
questions patiently and without judgement.
- Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets and ability to slice, dice, and
pivot-table to your heart's content.
- Ability to build out marketing emails and set up automation
workflows using WYSIWYG design editors and, when required, basic
HTML and CSS.
- You find joy in setting up a new platform from scratch and
using a system of integrations to connect the chosen solution to
the rest of the client's existing technology stack.
- You have a keen eye for problem spots and are confident in your
ability to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews prior to
important publishing dates and campaign sends.
- You have a working knowledge of conversion tracking as a
general practice and are able to set up Custom Events and Goals in
Google Analytics using first party integrations and Google Tag
Manager, with the correct guidance and/or support
documentation.
- You are comfortable working in G Suite tools, including Gmail,
Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Forms, and
workplace productivity tools such as Slack and Basecamp.

- Content Management System Software (ie: WordPress, Drupal,
Webflow, Squarespace, Wix)
- Email Marketing and Automation (ie: HubSpot, MailChimp,
Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, ActiveCampaign,
Klaviyo, CovertKit, Emma)
- Public Affairs and Advocacy (Phone2Action, NationBuilder, CQ
Engage, EveryAction, Action Network, Salsa Engage, Care2,
Change.org)
- Lead Capture (Unbounce, Gravity Forms, OptInMonster,
Instapages)
- Relevant Platform Certifications (ie: Salesforce Administrator,
Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Marketo Certified
