The Software Products Engineering (SPE) organization develops software applications, including integration and test on missiles, launchers, radars, naval systems, fire control and other complex systems. Our precision software and firmware integrates operating systems, device drivers, networking, and control software to bring together sensor, guidance, and flight control processing features to complete the mission. Job Summary:
This is your opportunity to join the Missile Defense Radar Software Department as a Senior Software Engineer in Woburn, Massachusetts.
The Missile Defense Radar Software Department mission is to provide world class Radar Software for our customer's wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers. Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• 
  Develop robust and scalable software in C and C++ running Linux or UNIX operating systems on a variety of computing platforms using Agile development methods.
  
  
• 
  Design, implement, debug and problem solve Radar Software Applications while providing feedback to other team members.
  
  
• 
  Help improve code quality by supporting software integration, verification and performing code reviews.
  
  
• 
  Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products.
  
  
• 
  Work in a team environment to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
  
  
• 
  Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule along with other duties as assigned.
  
  
  Qualifications You Must Have:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience. In absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of experience is required.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with C++ code development and Linux/Unix
    
    
  • 
    Experience developing software in a team-based development environment
    
    
  • 
    The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
