The Role: Lead Software Engineer
The Location: New Jersey/New York, USA/Virginia/US Virtual

The Team: The team is responsible for building Analytics products in a key strategic platform using emerging tools and technologies. The team works in a significant environment that gives ample opportunities to use creative ideas to take on complex analytical problems. You will have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and will be able to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe.
The Impact: You will be making meaningful contribution in building solutions for the User Interfaces/Webservices/API/Data Processing. The work you do will provide the data and analytics required for crucial, daily decisions in the capital and commodities markets.

  Responsibilities:

    Work as a hands-on developer to develop highly scalable industry-leading applications
    
    
  • 
    Work closely with product owners, technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements
    
    
  • 
    Analyze, isolate issues, and resolve them

    Produce system documents

    Improve the architecture and quality of the code
    
    
    What We're Looking For:
    Basic Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Bachelor's /Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
      
      
    • 
      Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      
      
    • 
      Have strong analytical skills and learning agility
      
      
    • 
      Have ability to work in a collaborative work environment
      
      
    • 
      4 to 8 years of experience in web development using HTML, CSS and Javascript including ES2016+ Minimum 2 years of experience of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Redux and Flux
      
      
    • 
      Experience with user interface design
      
      
    • 
      Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest
      
      
    • 
      Experience with browser based debugging and excellent troubleshooting skills
      
      
    • 
      Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test- driven development.
      
      
    • 
      Basic knowledge on AWS, Microservices, Spring Boot would be an added plus
      
      
      Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
      S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,300 - $170,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
      In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus plan.
