Our quant platform team will supercharge the capabilities of the data science unit by building the software components necessary to bring this content to our user. As part of this role, you will be a proven leader, creative thinker, utilizing software engineering skills to build out our next-generation quantitative development platform. Sound good to you? Join us. What you'll do as a Manager of the Quant Platform team:

• You will lead a team of engineers to evolve, improve and maintain all elements of the team's infrastructure.
• Build relationships, and establish strong lines of communication with a large and committed set of cross-functional stakeholders.
• Grow the members of your team through career management and feedback.
• Drive technical discovery through collaboration with your engineers.
• Implement software alongside your team members when necessary. What You'll bring:
  • Experience as the expert on a development team, where you were responsible for everything from planning to delivering key features and management of those features.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Python
  • Expertise with at least one object-oriented language like C# or Java is required.
  • Expertise with C/C++, including low and high-level optimization will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience building distributed systems in a cloud computing environment such as AWS strongly preferred.
  • Strong instincts around performance vs simplicity tradeoffs, engineering for maintainability, extensibility and debuggability.
  • Prior experience managing engineers is required.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and contributing to product definition.
