The Commons in Lincoln is now hiring a full time campus Technology Connections Coordinator. The Technology Connections Coordinator reports directly to the Plant Operations Director and supports the Activities/Programming Director. As a Technology Connections Coordinator, your primary focus will be provide instruction and support to residents and employees in technology, computers and social media. You will also facilitate monthly presentations and discussion groups with residents and families as well as run programs using technology. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Teaches residents and employees how to use the computer, social media and technology, including Email, Zoom, Teams, Facebook and other social media platforms
  • Leads programs and engages residents in technology based activities
  • Attends family and resident events to promote social media in the community
  • Collaborates with the Plant Operations Director to troubleshoot, create solutions and resolve issues
  • Responds to resident and employee requests in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with leadership to promote and encourage participation in annual resident and employee satisfaction surveys
  • Meets customer service standards in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner EDUCATION AND SKILLS
    • Must have an associates degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of technology, computers and the Internet
    • Expertise in computers and technology
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
    • Demonstrated high-level skill in planning appropriate programs
