The SAP Product Manager at Johnson & Johnson Abiomed is a key role responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and performance of SAP-related products within an organization. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP solutions, excellent product management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions. Further refine the backlog by adding necessary technical features and epics; work with Suppliers and Product owners, regarding supplier delivered capacity & architectural integration is understood. Help Product Owners prioritize their backlogs, manage product / platform constraints, and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Define the product vision, strategy and OKR's for SAP ERP, aligning business demand with the product roadmap.
  • Establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer value for SAP ERP.
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost and improving delivery efficiency. 2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product strategy.
    • Work closely with SAP architects, developers, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality solutions. 3. End User Engagement:
      • Engage with users to gather feedback, understand pain points, and find opportunities for product improvement.
      • Work closely with the support team to address user issues and enhance the overall user experience. 4. Product Development:
        • Work in close partnership with the Product Owner and Engineer roles to manage risk in backlog.
        • Ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases.
        • Manage the product development lifecycle from conception to launch. 5. Performance Monitoring:
          • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and performance of SAP products.
          • Implement strategies for continuous improvement based on performance metrics. 6. Compliance and Security:
            • Ensure that SAP products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.
            • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address any concerns or issues.
